Hi Bart, good new layout, I've just discovered that I can load the home page with Firefox and that's great, but when I click on the menu items on top of the page nothing happens. Other links in the homepage work well instead, but if I am in the forum and try to return to homepage clicking on the HOM...

Thanks Jennifer, I respect every opinion so I will not comment, anyway if anyone who listen to Blue Guitars, being a fan of Chris or not, is enthusiastic of it, I think that review is from someone who has not listened well any of the albums. He should have known about Blue Guitars being a blues albu...

Customer's review on Amazon

I was reading the various customers reviews on various Amazon sites, though there is a good number of reviews on the british and german sites only. On both sites all (or nearly all) reviewers have five star rated "Blue Guitars", except for one review on the german site. The reviewer has on...

Shamrock Diaries... isn't it great?

Yesterday I was listening to that CD, and although I think Chris has written his best music ever in "Blue Guitars", I must say that... WOW! That album is one of his best! (if not the best at all). It's the album that made me "fall in love" with Chris many (oh! so many...) years a...

As I can read from the booklet, the front cover illustration is by a certain Paul Slater and not by Chris, though I think he has approved the cover itself. In fact, this kind of painting is not in the "Chris' style"....

Maybe a reference to the song "I'm ready" from God's Great Banana Skin? Or (even better) to the song "Red shoes" from Auberge?

Well, I like art as well as music, and Hopper is one of my favourite painters of the XXth century. I have a catalogue of his works, so when I bought TBJ I noticed from the very first moment I saw its cover that it was a reworking of "The nighthawks". I never thought to "reveal" t...

The Blue Jukebox cover

Maybe not all of you are aware that the cover of this CD recalls (and was probably inspired by) a very known painting of the american painter Edward Hopper. That painting is "The Nighthawks", and here's a link where you can see an imagine of that work. http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/...

"137 new songs"?

The sticker on the book claims "137 new songs". Well, not quite so. If you sum up all the tracks, yes, the total is 137, but... Catfish Girl was already issued on "Stony Road" (only on the 2-CD's release, but I think it doesn't matter), Are You Ready was already on "Blue Str...

Re: Paul simon - Songs from the capeman

Hello; Just started listening to cd 10 and I have heard 3 tracks so far, but I noticed something. These tracks are VERY MUCH alike with the CD "songs from the capeman" of Paul Simon ... Does anybody know that CD (beautifull cd by the way!) and thinks the same about it ?? ... Yes, mood, fl...

Re: Second error

We have found a second error... Not on all versions the same... Another forum member has got a version where in the tracklist in the book from CD 11 there's no track "3" in the list, and track "15" twice... Looks like this: 01. My Baby Told Me [2.40] 02. Got To Be Moving [3.44] ...

i just checked the shipping costs on amazon are 28 pounds! that's nearly as much as the album! so... but i'll find a way. 28 pounds is the cost for delivering an item via priority express. A safe and quick way to receive an order, but quite expensive. So you might consider the Airmail delivery, whi...

Well, it happens that when a classical music CD wins a prize, this is remarked with a sticker on its cover (actually on the plastic envelope). I like to preserve them, so I tried many many times to separate those stickers from the plastic but to no avail, so I always cut them and then I insert the s...

Stupid question

Yes, it is, I think... But what have you done with the sticker on the plastic envelope of the book? I put it apart, and now I cannot decide whether to stick it again on the book cover or whatever.
Suggestions will be well accepted....
Bye :D
