Re: Fool if you think it's over - The definitive greatest hits

Hi all, I wonder if there is a way of checking how many copies of Chris' last earbook have been sold? These numbers could provide an answer to our question: "why yet another 'best of?'" Perhaps the last album didn't sell well? We, at this forum, are a small group of admires and we all buy...

Re: Fool if you think it's over - The definitive greatest hits

I am not happy with this new release. :( I have seen it also on musicload.de for download. :( :( If i remember exactly, this is what Chris never wanted. His music as a download from the I Net. Because of this reason he made the EARBOOKS. It maybe a tribute to his record company. This is exactly the...

Heading For The City inspiration !

The brilliant Heading For The City from Dancing Down The Stony Road has a small bit of Debussy at the intro , but Chris builds the song from the jazz classic "So What " by Miles Davis ....it is just a couple of chords , and the song eventually goes it's own way , so I think this was CR's w...

Re: Clarkson Blues Lyrics ?

Thanks for the info Alan, :D Top Gear sounds like a great show. On the show credits it says the opening theme is "Jessica", composed by Dickey Betts. Dickey was a former and founding member of The Allman Bros. Band. Not to get "out of track" here but Chuck Leavell has an interes...
