Re: Who plays guitar / sax?

From the attached it looks as though it probably is Snake Davis, though given there was the TV show and the audio cd it might be that 2 different people played sax on each occasion, or maybe someone just "mimed" the sax on the tv show ?? http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0...

Re: ON THE BEACH / ROAD TO HELL

Looks like Chris's former record company are trying to make some money as they are releasing both albums as a set in August at a very competative price if ASDA ( Wal-Mart ) are anything to go by.

Re: Chris Rea "B Sides and Singles" recordings

HI Lily I don't know for sure if this the answer to your question but Mowtown Mania was a televised event in the UK and I suspect anyone that recorded the show would have the "live" audience copy. There was also an album released of the songs from the show that did not have audience inclus...

Re: The meaning of that song...

Hi Thom

I stumbled across this site the other day which whilst it appears is no longer running is certainly a good reference point for albums and lyrics by Chris. Perhaps some of you already know about it?

Re: Ahoy, Rotterdam.

Joan

With a couple of exceptions the set list is almost the same as that on the Live in Sydney bootleg which was recorded on 3-10-87 so I think your inclinations are correct that it is nearer 1987 than 1991.
