Clarence Clemons R.I.P

Post by alan1958 »

The Big Man made some of the greatest noises anyone made on this planet ..... From the clubs in New Jersey , stadiums of the world with Springsteen , right up to playing the sax solo on Lady Gaga's new single ......... Anyone who saw Springsteen , especially in the early days , will always cherish the memory of being in the same room as "The Big Man " when he was blasting out that sax......Will be sadly missed x

Ps if you don't really know much about him , YouTube the word "Jungleland " and enjoy the most georgeous Sax solo ever recorded

Will be sadly missed x

Yeah, another great musician passed away, one of the few remaining original members of the E Street Band, which formed in Asbury Park, in New Jersey (USA), back in the early 1970s. First Danny Federici and now Clarence Clemons. I don't know whether Bruce Springsteen will be able to replace the The Big Man with someone else so good on the sax. He's going to be missed by many.
Take care,
Chris
