Is there or has there ever been a La Passione DVD? I've listened to the music, read the stories, watched the interviews... how do I obtain the movie? Any ideas? Preferably something I can purchase online for shipment to Australia.

THe movie has only been released on PAL tape.
You can find it sometimes on EBay etc.

If you buy 'La Passione' on video, be careful! I bought a copy from off Ebay and when I sat down to watch it one night, it was totally unwatchable! Although it stated that it was in 'Good Condition'. it turned out to be a very poor recording, and as it is unreturnable, not only have I wasted my money, but I'm now left with a video that is completely useless. I've been trying to obtain 'La Passione' on DVD without much success. Good luck in your search!

I came across this site which is selling Chris Rea's 'La Passione' on DVD. Take a look at it and let me know what you think. Seems quite a lot of people are buying this film from off this site, and the price is cheap too!

Postage from Canada to you is almost that.
I never knew it was issued on DVD only have seen it on tape.
I had to convert mine from PAL tape to DVD

You're right, it still isn't released on DVD:

Transferred from Original Video.

The site I'm going to buy this film from, she states that she has transferred the film from video onto DVD, so I'm hoping the reproduction will be much better than the video I bought from off Ebay, which, to say the least, was crap.

I was looking for a La Passione DVD for a long time, but never found....
Today I tried to copy it from my original tape - but the quality is so bad OK - it's quite old, but in this way it won't be fun to watch it.

So can anyone tell me how to get a DVD-version of the movie or is there still none?

Would be very pleased about some answers...
