Interviewer talks about our idol, they respond, in a manner which is al so common. People don't know about Chris Rea but still have an opinion about him; knowing one record he made.

It's fashionable to bash Chris in certain circles/groups of people. This attitude is outdated in my opinion and more frankly never was fashionable.

Maybe Chris must be an alcoholic and must have had a couple of marriages before that particular crowd takes him serious about his music.
