Hi Jutta, it was on at £550 with a buy it now price of £800. Never saw any reference to a charity or anything. I guess a private offer came in or the seller decided to keep it ?
It said it was manufactured in 1999.

I have tried looking for one of these but am yet to find a pic or info about one. would be so awesome though.

The Chris Rea Fender Signature Guitar ia back on ebay again , as the seller had a problem from ebay, as he was not allowed to say it was "NEARLY NEW " , so it now says "USED".....................happy bidding
