Chris Rea mention on German TV

Hi there,

yesterday on THE VOICE of GERMANY (German casting show for singer - a really interesting one): In the jury are different German musicians and a Irish guy from a German rockband (Reamonn). They are sitting backwards to the stage and can only listen to the singer (without seeing him/her) - and have to push a button to qualify this candidate to the next round. The candidates only see the chairs of the jury with their first names on it - so there are NENA, XAVIER, BOSS HOSS and REA, because the Irish guy from the jury is called REA GARVEY. You can sense what will come - one singer thought, after REA GARVEY pushed the button, that Chris Rea is sitting on this chair (because of REA) and asked the whole time, where's Chris??? A funny moment on the show with some Chris Rea music played during this scene...the misunderstanding was solved as Rea Garvey walked to the contestant and informed him that Chris won't be there but he will do his best

They have the same reality show in the U.S. under a different name.

Terrible program, Dutch Design, so much of these kind of programs these days!
