Hi, Somethings happening on the official site. http://www.chrisrea.com/ just went and it appears the page down for maintenance, so hopefully a new version of the site is to be uploaded anytime soon ??

It seems that the official website in not existing anymore.... Even not under construction? What to think of that?
It is a long time since we heard offically something about any news. Does anyone know something about new project(s)?

I have to echo your comment. There is talk of him re working the La Passione film and soundtrack, which isn't what I was really hoping for. Good original new Chris Rea Music is my wish.

It was gone for a day or two, but noticed it was back, but only Amazone, and Jazzee Blue label. So nothing new, that was what I hoped...

Unfortunately if C.R. is true to form there will be nothing on his site till he's ready to annouce a new project.
There doesn't even seem to be any rumours out there right now ! The last I heard the autobiography and a remake of LaPassione were to come out -but nothing happened.
We've discussed this here before but he seems to only use his web sites to announce something new rather than keeping everyone informed on what's happening (old & new). By contrast I signed up for Joe Bonamassa's web site and he sends out old & new info as well as merchandise offers at least twice a week.

Jim you're right it is a shame! He needs a good marketing strategy lol
