I think thats one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. In fact there are so many sad songs on Blue Guitars.Maybe a better word would be tragic because it was tragic the way black people were treated. At least now a days people are more civilised and they generally don't treat their fellow human beings this way thankfully.

Totally agree with you.The 1st few songs on disc1.... it's like you are almost there with these people and you can feel their fear as they were taken prisoner. You can feel their terror as they had no idea what was going on let alone what was happening to them.Thats another thing I love about Chris is the way he is able to show this in a song. It's almost like he paints the picture of what is happening as he sings.

Hey Jim,

I wish I had so much paintings that would worth a website... but anyway thank you for asking.
I'm not as lucky (and as talented and skilled) as Zeljko for instance; so it's only a hobby I try to put somewhere between work, guitar, books, music, films, learning and private life....
But I promise I'll find a way to show some and thanks again,
Chris
