Hey everyone,

Tina,
You're very welcome (and thank you very much) :) sorry it took so long.

Jim,
Thank you, I love that too!
Well Javier has soooo many guitars... I guess - only guess - his choice from Squier brand must be the Standard series. The difference between Standard and Affinity is the materials used e.g. for the body or pickups. A Standard Squier is almost, really almost a Fender... then why is that a lot cheaper than Fenders? Noone knows, I guess :)

Chris

Hello Phillipe,

There are copyright issues with that video because it belongs to Fender, so I don't think I can post it on YouTube,

but email me and I will look into it.... :D

What a great thread on CR's guitars. I have played a strat for many years then about 5 years ago added a telecaster to my collection. Finally a Maranello Classic in blue sparkle. "What a guitar" the Maranello has turned out to be. No wonder Chris bought a job-lot in Denmark Street. With some effort you can sound like Peter Green to Carlos Santana. Or better still Mr.Chris Rea, it really is a fantastic guitar. If anybody is looking to buy one they are now available from

http://www.jhs.co.uk/italia.html as sadly, Arbiter has gone bust.

As mentioned before they are designed by Trevor Wilkinson a brilliant designer and engineer from Southport England, who has built the FretKing range of instruments.
