Any chance of some atmosphere / dancing?

Post by davidgsmith »

I am going to the shows at Harrogate and Newcastle,
neither of which in the past has been exactly a hotbed of atmosphere, especially Harrogate.
Anyone else going to these shows agree with me? maybe we could try and incite the crowd??

or should I just sit down ??

Just as I thought - a pandemic of apathy.

Looks like I will be dancing on my own :D

I have seen Chris live many times and the audience is never particularly lively. I kid you not one time at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall two "older" ladies came in sat a couple of rows in front of me and proceeded to get some sort of blanket out and put it over their knees then get a box of chocolates out. Did not look to me if they were getting ready to dance!

Good comment from Chris: "I'm going to a disco, you lot can stay in your seats if you want....."

Some people just like to sit and listen, I guess. And see, of course...
