Hi pizzaaddi,

This ticketalarm says nothing I'm afraid. I have it on for every gig Chris Rea gives and it worked for the Netherlands, Belgium and UK. But I have it on for a very long time for Germany and still nothing yet.
Why do you think it will go, just curious? Because I still have my doubts. :(

Hi ann,

in Germany on eventim the ticketalarm is very reliable.

Lets wait a few days and then we will see.

Thank you Pizzaaddi for sharing this link.

However, I am not happy at all. Not a single word about new material and the setlist is assumed to be absolutely the same as it was on London Blues Fest, Santo Spirito and Still So Far to Go tours. Sad.

Look just like another round to pick some money and nothing more. If there is no new material presented in Montreux I am not going to go to any concert in this tour.

best regards
Andrey

Me too. Does he/ do they really think that everybody just wants to hear the same songs every tour? It must be soooo boooring for him and his band and the whole crew. And it´s the opposite of what he announced after the farewell tour: to play only small clubs, mostly new blues- stuff and probably a few old numbers in the future. Other bands change the setlist every night on a tour.

Hi, pizzaaddi,

What a good morning. Thank you for making my day with these news! You where even faster than eventim ticket alarm.
But of course, beside all my joy I must agree with the former writers: The songs which were announced in the info (and in the info I could get from the local concert agency here as well) sound like 'Groundhog Day'. We are all starving for at least half a concert of new material.
I wonder what Chris has put on/into the announced September album. Hopefully recorded in a better studio and with musicians like Robert Ahwai, Neil Drinkwater or Martin Ditcham (why did Chris dump them?). 'Santo Spirito' was a great deception for me, and I'm not talking about the two videos.
Anyway, it takes more to scare off an old fan and I'm looking forward to get the tickets for November ...

Have a good time!

16 DATES in Germany and Austria???!!
It would be really comforting to see the official site set up and be able to see the tour dates in one official place.
Or, at least, the FB page...
Actually, any Serbia date, officially announced and confirmed anywhere....

Hi to all,
I just found another tour date on www.songkick: 30th October in the O2 arena in Prague! Looks like there will be some more concerts in other European contries.

I hope he'll be playing in Warsaw as well. I found another date for Chris in Salzburg, Austria, on October 29, 2014.
As far as musicians during this tour, Martin Ditcham is currently with the Latin Quarter band and I think they are touring as well, promoting their new album called the "Tilt".
Best regards to all,
Chris

Hi Chris,
I hope for other concerts as well. But when I look at his schedule it seems to be a tight knit affair. Only two free days between Nuremberg and Düsseldorf (1st and 2nd Nov.) and two free days between Baden-Baden and Paris (2oth and 21st Nov.) The other pauses are only one day and Chris will need to rest...
Anyway I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Best regards from Germany!
