Just by chance this song has come up on my ipod a couple of times recently. I love the sound and I noticed that CR seems to use a slightly unusual (for him) vocal style on this song and I wonder if anybody else had noticed it. He seems to clip the ends of words a little and seems to have added a little vocal edge that I haven't noticed on other tracks. Was it possibly destined for a US release either as a single or album or was it just a production style peculiarity? Sometimes the thinking and strategy behind releases fascinates me as much as the music itself.
