Hi there,
yesterday I listened to Auberge (the album) in its entirety - and I have to admit that it is one of Chris' best albums. Right from the start of Auberge to the sad end (The mention of your name) the mood is very relaxed. Every song is outstanding. My personal favourites are: Every second counts, Set me free, Looking for the summer, Auberge. And during that days there were B-sides on every single - I'm happy to have these gems in my collection. Teach me to dance is one of my all-time favourites.
I remember the Naked-Truth-Tour as one of the best live concerts I've ever seen.
If there will ever be something like a box-set of Chris Rea's music, i hope they will release some of his older stuff and b-sides as well as some live recordings from his older tours (pre-pure-blues-days ).
Ok, just wanted to tell somebody
Greetings and tschoe
