Arbre featuring Chris Rea 1976

Post by andrew fischer »

Hi everyone here!

Again I found an amazing link, where they say that Chris once played a few tracks with Arbre, the pop-rock group from 70's. I've never heard of such a work before. From the picture we can't find out that Chris is actually playing there. But they say he does...

So, does anybody know something about this record?

Well, I also think so, coz' never anyone mentioned Chris working with such a band.

By the way, in UK there're several rather well-known people whose names are Chris Rea, and which I often come across skipping the internet searching for C.R. news. These people are politicians, journalists, etc.
Sometimes it's a bit funny to read something like "Chris Rea ran to South Africa to solve recent social and political problems" or "Chris Rea tells us about oil industy workers" and so on :D

Best regards to all of you,

Hi Gertjan

The information within that article is incorrect.
On the song 'Falling' which is on Time and Again, a session guitarist called
Chris Rae added some lines . He is not the same person as Chris Rea!

The three Caffrey Brothers from Arbre are recording and performing again and
I will probably do some gigs with them during 2007...first time together
since 1978!!

For more info and mp3s go to http://www.myspace.com/rogeraskew and also
http://www.myspace .com/rognolly

Thanks for your enquiry

Roger Askew
