Looking For The Summer

Post by Cool & Jazzee »

just a miracle... to tell the truth, when I was small - about 4 or 5 y.o. - I hated this one and The Road To Hell - I thought they were too boring, especially Looking For The Summer. :)

But now, when I have learned English and so I can understand the meaning of the song as if it was composed in Russian - I strongly believe that only a genius could compose such lyrics and music... And I made a translation of the "Summer" into Russian.

However, I have lots of favourite songs... It's so hard to chose!  :!:

Hello, Alla!
Can you please give me your Russian translation of Looking for the summer? And maybe some other, if you don't mind?
I'd love to read it, because even though I work as technical interpreter I still do not understand some parts of english songs, unfortunately, including Chris' songs.
I'm still learning :)
-------
Best regards,
Alexander.

Yeah, I want the Russian translation too! And I also made some translations, the one I like is "A Memory of a Good Friend".

So, here is the topic: http://www.chrisrea.nl/community/viewto ... =2325#2325
I can post links. So, the best way is to publish in the net and share then. Do you know what is "live journal"?

Hello Cool, :D

Looking For The Summer, definitely a favorite! 8)

I like the idea of a translations topic, I'm an interpreter too, though I do not speak Russian .... :(

You use the Chrisrea pills (called "blue notes" by the underground) on a regular basis, which gets you high, in that case you do take drugs. I mean, droogs :D
