Hi, I'm Mick,
I'm from Middlesbrough, but have lived in Geordie land for the last 9 years, Like Chris I married a Stainsby girl, actually my wife knew Joan, (Chris's wife(as they were in the same year). A little story my brother-in-law told me (don't know how much of it is true). He said that Chris's father used to have a drink in the Middlesbrough Liberal Club on Newport Road., (no longer there) and Chris played in public for the first time there. That must have been very early 70's. It would be nice if this could be confirmed. Born Middlesbrough 7/4/54, so for those who can't count, I'm 26.
