Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam

Post by chrisreafan »

Its my first concert of Chris Rea. So i have no comparisons to other concerts of him. I think it was a very good concert, and i mean very good. He played numerous solo's, danced like there was no tomorrow. The playlist was the same as Paris.

I found "I can't wait for love" just superb.

bought the earbook and a t-shirt; cost me 85 €, but what the heck.

Looked crowded also, if there were still tickets to buy.

Hi fans,
Indeed, the concert in Amstyerdam was great.
I think i've never seen Chris in this way. great playing, dancing, havin fun.
Most of the times in other concerts he only waves at the crowd.
This time he even joked with us during On the beach. He was supprised we could sing the YEAH-YEAH this way
:lol:
And during Let's Dance he even played a "toonladder"(scale, key) when he missed a key.

Bart of course got his plectrum.

Now waiting for the Earbook....:-)
(the Photographer sometimes stood right in front of me :-(, but made nice pics

Hello Ronald;

Thank you very much for the great photo! Judging from the photo you must have been quite near to me, but I haven't seen you ... :( Oh well, I guess I only had eyes for one "man"... :D

Hello Gert-Jan;

At the first 2/3 of the concert Chris said almost nothing, which was a bit disapointing for me, but the last third he made that up completely by being very friendly to the crowd ! He was very funny, although I doubt that the "error" wasn't planned ...

You must have been nearby as well, as you've seen I have gotten his plectrum ( :lol: :lol: :lol: ) ... haven't seen you either :(

I couldn't help noticing that the lotus 7 sticker was removed from 'pinkie'... Or was that already so on the last tour?

I managed to salvage this picture more or less, gives a impression of the delmonts stage.

Hi, re taking photos, did you use a flash and did anyone complain about cameras being taken in. I am going to the concert in Nottingham in March.
Cheers, good to hear you enjoyed the show.

Does anybody know if Chris will be signing some of his new posters somewhere anytime soon?
(Like he did with the Blue Guitars at Hope for Tomorrow in Gloucestershire)

I got these 6 posters from there, one of them signed by Chris:
