Hello from Perth, Western Australia

I'm new to the forum and would like to say Hi and Merry Christmas to all. Although I now live in Western Australia, like Chris, I am also originally a native of Teesside in the UK.

I first saw Chris supporting Lindisfarne, around the late seventies at the Newcastle City Hall and have followed is career since. I also met him in Melbourne (very briefly) in 1987 after his show. I don't think he's been back to Australia since.

There is only 1 "Chubbs" from Teesside and his name is Royston Vasey and I don't think he has emigrated ??

That's an interesting article, I was a massive fan of Lindisfarne and saw them in concert many times. The article states that "Chris's Norwegian wife was not about that night. I always thought that Joan was also from Middlesbrough (Acklam)?
