Hi Alan & THanks for this.
Randy has a radio show here on CBC and is an amazing music historian.
On his show he discusses various artists,albums & styles of music adding his personal knowledge on these subjects.A friend of mine knows him and says he's discussed Chris Rea w/him and Randy admires C.R.'s work and is a big fan so I'm not surprised he named Fool.Also Randy lives here (on Salt Spring Island) but he also keeps an apartment in London.

A quick update w/breaking news.
Randy's brother Tim (also in BTO) was arrested yesterday for molesting an 11 year old girl 10 years ago.
He was in court w/Randy suing for the right to use the name BTO as he wanted to go back on the road.
He's a real estate agent in this area.
