Oh, Poolie, thank you so much for this information!
Montreux performance is great to know about! I really hope more and more that Stony Road scenario would repeat, when Chris played 12 all new songs at Montreux in July 2002 intruducing his 1st blues album...
just found an information from a Russian Montreux festival frequent goer that Chris is going to not only play there as a honorary (???) guest, but also provide a master-class (???) for the visitors.
I did not find any proofs of this, and the information I found is only in Russian and not official.
Somebody who owns and runs this CR fan site http://paco49.chez-alice.fr/ is apparently reading this forum, as the news that me and Ann have brought in have appeared there just the other day.
I do not mind this, as me myself I also run my own CR fan page, just wanted to know who is in charge of this great site (e.g. CR tours history pages are incredible).
Article mentions September release of 'La Passione'. I'm not too excited by this bit of news I have to say. I didn't really enjoy the album first time around too much, maybe he has made it special and I'll love it this time ??
I'm very pleased to hear this news !
Personally I really enjoy La Passione (one of my favorite C.R. albums) and hope it's more of the same w/many new songs. From what I've read C.R. never liked the film so I'm hoping he'll redo that as well !
If you recall a couple of years ago he was going to visit the museum & drive the reproduction Ferrari they built for the movie etc.
I'm sensing a couple of CD's/DVD/Ear book !
