And even more news! An amazing rare official video shot 26 years ago was posted on Youtube the day before yesterday:

A really rare (and maybe unique) occasion when Chris apprears on the same stage along with such big time fellow artists as Mark Knopfler and Cliff Richard and sings NOT his own song (I Left My Heart in San Franciso, originally composed in 1954 by Douglass Cross & George Cor and sung by Tony Bennett). Chris and Max Middleton (finally without hat!), accompanying him on grand piano, appear on the 21st minute of the record. At the end of the video you can see a still-shot with the only photo I know which depicts Chris together with Mark Knopfler.
Shame on me, but not only did I never knew of this trubute concet, but had no clue who Roger Scott was. In fact, I did have this record of Chris in my collection, which I had got from a fan long ago, but it was marked simply as Roger Scott Tribute and the date was erroneously given as 1998 instead of 1989, and I was thinking it was Chris's performance at the prominent Ronnie Scott's jazz club on an unknown special occasion. Now that know the occasion and the exact place - Abbey Road studios. I guess this concert was only aired on BBC radio, never televised. Here is some more info on this concert:

Great thanks to my fellow Mark Knopfler fan who posted this video.
Best regards
